- Copy the contents of the following directories to the corresponding directory onto a thumb drive.
- My Documents
- Favorites
- Desktop Items
- Application Data
i. Identities
ii. Microsoft
1. Outlook
iii. Anything that looks relevant
- Local Settings
i. Application Data
1. Identities
2. Microsoft
a. Outlook
- Copy the directories from the thumb drive into the corosponding user directory under c:\Documents and Settings\"user"
- Importing Outlook Data and E-mail
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Click on “File”
- Choose “Import and Export”
- Choose “Import form another program or file”
- Click “Next”
- Choose “Personal Folder File (.pst)”
- Click on “Browse” Choose old Outlook file.
- Click on “Open”
- Follow instructions.
- Setup any new peripheral devices.
